Patsystems was founded in 1994 by a team of derivatives traders and IT experts, who recognised that the derivatives industry was moving towards electronic trading and wanted to build systems that would lead the way as traders migrated from the floor.

In 2000, Patsystems floated on the London Stock Exchange. In 2003, Patsystems listed on AIM (Alternative Investment Market).

The total number of voting rights attached to any ordinary shares which are held by Patsystems as Trustee of the Patsystems Plc All Employee Share Scheme (“Scheme”) is one per share, with a total of 879,360 shares held by the Company under the Scheme

The total number of voting rights in the Company is 180,446,633.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
